TMB Attorney Anna M. Koch has been selected as an “Up and Coming” Attorney for 2022 by Minnesota Lawyer, a legal publication based in the Twin Cities. Each year Minnesota Lawyer recognizes a group of attorneys in their first decade of practice who have distinguished themselves by their professional accomplishment, leadership, and service to the community/profession.  Ms. Koch was nominated, in part, for her impressive mastery of trial skills, oral advocacy, pre-trial and post-trial motions as well as appeals, certiorari petitions, appellate motions, and petitions to the Minnesota Supreme Court.

Anna graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Law in May of 2018 where she excelled at moot court. She was admitted to practice that fall. Since then, Anna has second-chaired a half-dozen bench and jury trials, and recently won a court trial as first chair. A member of the MSBA Appellate Law Section, Anna has worked on dozens of appellate briefs, some times juggling four appellate cases at a time, and has argued before the Court of Appeals. She also has written or opposed at least four petitions to the Minnesota Supreme Court, one of which is pending. She has also won many conciliation court cases, unemployment hearings, bankruptcy proceedings and arbitrations.

The awards luncheon will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Minneapolis.
