Associate attorney Kelly M. Dougherty was re-elected to serve as the Vice Chair for the Arts & Entertainment Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association for the 2015-2016 term.  In her role as Vice Chair, Kelly will continue her duties of planning and presenting continuing legal education courses for attorneys in the entertainment field, in addition to working with members of the Minneapolis and Saint Paul arts communities to help serve their unmet legal needs.  Kelly previously served as the Vice Chair of the Board for the 2014-2015 term, as the Treasurer of the Board for the 2013-2014 term and as Secretary on the Board for the 2012-2013 term.

Kelly is building her practice in music copyright law and entertainment law and she represents Minnesota artists and business owners in a broad range of business matters, including copyright and trademark registration, Minnesota business formations, and the negotiation and drafting of entertainment-related agreements.  Kelly can be reached at 612.455.0504 or kdougherty@trepanierlaw.com.
