TMB shareholder V. John Ella was appointed as Chair of the Minnesota Board of Legal Certification by Chief Justice Lorie S. Gildea of the Minnesota Supreme Court on January 6, 2020. Mr. Ella has served on the board for the past three years.

The Minnesota State Board of Legal Certification oversees the process by which lawyers in Minnesota are certified as specialists. The certification process gives the public information about certain attorneys who have earned the right to call themselves specialists in certain fields of law.
