Trepanier MacGillis Battina P.A. is very pleased to announce that Shannon E. Eckman has joined the firm as an associate attorney practicing in the areas of business, employment, and real estate litigation. Ms. Eckman is a 2021 graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law and obtained her B.A., magna cum laude in 2017 from Creighton University.

Prior to law school, Shannon worked for the Olmstead Implementation Office, which facilitates policy implementation for the Minnesota Olmstead Plan—an interagency plan of measurable goals and strategies to help people with disabilities work, learn, and live life in the most integrated setting of their choice. Shannon’s experience working in disability policy and working with people with disabilities motivated her to pursue law school.

Ms. Eckman will be supporting the firm’s litigation practice group and representing clients in state and federal court, arbitrations, and other contested matters. TMB’s President, James C. MacGillis, stated, “We are grateful to have Shannon here to support our expanding litigation practice.”
