Tyler D. Spillman is a business and litigation attorney focused on representing businesses and individuals in the areas of business formation and governance, commercial real estate, landlord-tenant law, breach of contract litigation, employment litigation, and shareholder disputes. He has a passion for serving entrepreneurs and business owners.
Tyler has experience working with individuals and organizations of every degree of complexity and sophistication, from individuals to large banks and institutions. He strives to provide his clients with thoughtful, detail oriented, and zealous representation in all matters. Tyler has handled hundreds of court hearings and numerous trials.
Tyler was born and raised in Eagan, Minnesota, but has spent much of his professional career working in Chicago, Illinois, where he ran a successful solo law practice for several years representing individuals and small businesses.
Outside the law, Tyler is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys climbing, hiking, skiing, kayaking, camping, mountaineering, and sailing. He has been a longtime racing sailboat crew member and volunteer for regatta race committees and has completed several Chicago Yacht Club Races to Mackinac. He also volunteers with Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America
