Attorney James C. MacGillis has been appointed to serve on the Jesuit Partnership Council of Minneapolis and St. Paul (“JPC”). The JPC is a lay organization with a mission of supporting the various Jesuit ministries in the Twin Cities. Those ministries include the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, the Jesuit Novitiate located in St. Paul, and the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Community in Minneapolis. Mr. MacGillis is a graduate of John Carroll University, Cleveland’s Jesuit university, and served with the Jesuit Volunteer Corp in Camden, New Jersey in 1992 and 1993.

Jim is an active member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, and previously served as co-chair of its Business and Securities Law Section. Jim represents Minnesota business owners and employees in a broad range of business matters, including Minnesota business formations, the negotiation and drafting of shareholder agreements, and the implementation and interpretation of non-compete agreements.
