Minnesota litigator Bryan R. Battina of the law firm Trepanier MacGillis Battina P.A. will give a CLE webcast through the National Business Institute on December 28, 2015. During the CLE event, Discovery from Start to Finish, Bryan will join other litigators and judges in a discussion of seven significant areas of the discovery process.
Bryan will cover two of the presentation segments. First, Bryan will cover written discovery, including objections to discovery requests, motions to compel and responses, how to use requests for production to form a settlement, strategies for using requests for admission to solidify a case, and methods for developing effective interrogatories. In the second hour, Bryan will cover depositions of lay witnesses. During this session, Bryan will discuss how to prepare lay witnesses, witness background checks, and strategies for opposing lay witnesses.
