Attorney James C. MacGillis has been reappointed as co-chair of the Hennepin County Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral & Information Service (“LRIS”) Oversight Committee for 2014-2015. The LRIS is a program administered by the Hennepin County Bar Association that coordinates a consultation between a qualified member attorney and a person seeking legal advice. Annually, the LRIS coordinates approximately 3,000 consultations in which a person pays a small fee in exchange for a 30-minute consultation with a participating attorney. The LRIS is a key part of the bar association’s efforts to serve its members and provide a service to the community.

Jim is an active member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, and previously served as co-chair of its Business and Securities Law Section.
