In his session, Craig discussed the Minnesota Drug and Alcohol Testing in the Workplace Act (DATWA) on Minnesota employers, DOT drug/alcohol testing for commercial drivers, and the impact of the new Minnesota medical marijuana law on workplace drug testing programs. The session provided an overview of the elements an employer must include in its written drug testing policy before an employee or job applicant can undergo drug or alcohol testing.
